Sleepyheads.com is proud to partner with The Pajama Program (www.pajamaprogram.org), providing warm pajamas to needy children, many waiting and hoping to be adopted, living in fostercare or in shelters. They are youngsters who do not know the comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a cozy bed in their favorite pjs. Many have been abandoned or abused, most deprived of any love at all. Children all over the United States and even as far away as Africa and India receive pjs from The Pajama Program. Sleepyheads.com has now made it possible for all of our customers to help this worthy cause.
How Can I Help?
Simply purchase any adult or kids pajamas from Sleepyheads.com (The Pajama Programs needs all sizes, including adult as there are many teenagers without a permanent home). Upon checkout, please enter the following in the gift message box, "For The Pajama Program" or if you are buying some for yourself and would like to designate just part of your order to be donated, enter the style name and then For the Pajama Program. For every pair our customers donate, Sleepyheads.com will match the donation with another pajama. You will receive a letter from the Pajama Program acknowledging receipt of the donation for tax purposes.

 "At the start of Pajama Program, I visited a Center for childen with no fathers and whose mothers are in prison. I brought with me 12 pairs of pajamas that had recently been donated. As the children came into the room, they viewed the pajamas I'd spread out on a table. Each child chose the pair he or she wanted. After about four children made their selections, one little girl came over to me. "Where do I wear these?" she asked. "To bed at night," I answered. She looked at me, puzzled. "What do you usually wear to bed?" I asked her. "My pants," she said quietly. I looked at the suddenly far too small selection of pajamas that I had brought and my heart sank. This will never do. We need more...much, much more. We need your help. Every child deserves to be able to sleep in pajamas!" - Genevieve Piturro
